Wind & Rain

Almost every summer afternoon some sort of storm brewed over Toledo Bend. There are some days I came home from work while staying there, and everything in the yard was blown over. There were things Tom and I thought would be too heavy to blow over left laying a few feet from where they were that morning. It is amazing how strong the winds are coming off the lake. I decided to start recording bits and pieces of the storms as I was able to. Here are a few clips below and photos to the right for you to view and listen to. The clips were all taken July 2, and July 4, of 2008, around 7:00pm on the day of the 4th.
You will notice our walkway of the pier is missing. It was washed away during the June storms of 2008.
